When choosing gems I usually stick to natural gemstones.  While many man-made, or synthetic, stones are very similar to the natural ones and the average person can not tell the difference, my preference is to use stones that were created in nature, not a laboratory.

One of the stones that made me all starry eyed when I saw it is Blue Goldstone, also called Blue Sandstone.  Love <3

Blue Goldstone Three Charmed Gems

The dark purple-blue coloured glass reminds me of the night sky, while the flecks of copper glitter like the stars in the galaxy.  What could be more awe inspiring than imagining that you are holding the universe in the palm of your hand?

It’s difficult to determine the exact time and place of origin for Blue Goldstone.  Many reference that the stone was discovered by chance when monks accidentally spilled molten copper into molten glass.  Others reference Murano glass workers in Venice in the 17th century.

Associated with the Throat Chakra, it is thought to have many beneficial qualities.  A good deflector of negativity and unwanted energies, it can remind you that light can always be found in the darkness.

Considered a stone of wisdom and good luck.  Good for meditation, or just to have because it’s so neat to look at.

Blue Goldstone Stack Bracelet with Om Charm

Because it looks so much like the open space around us, the universe, I paired the Blue Goldstone beads with the Om charm, the all-encompassing sound for the Blue Goldstone Stackable Bracelet with Om Charm.
