I’m not sure if you noticed, but in the last post the picture wasn’t exactly perfect. Someone, who will remain nameless, forgot to remove the barcode tag from the top of the jar. Insert bashful look.
Now that I see the error of my way I thought I would go back and fix it. Like any other person, I peeled away as much of the sticker that would come off. But like any other sticker, it left that gluey residue. Yuck.
Not wanting to use chemicals or spend a lot of time rubbing off the goo, I decided to check to see if some of the new Young Living Essential Oils I purchased could do the trick. I’m new to using Essential Oils and looking for ways to use them other than diffusing them into the air for pretty smells. Lo and behold, Lemon Essential Oil is said to cut through just this sort of thing.
Placing just a drop of Lemon Essential Oil onto the goo.
rubbing it around with the paper towel and voila! Perfectly removed goo! Picture perfect jar top! Hmmm. There’s more to the Essential Oils than just pretty smell.
